This project was finished this evening. It is a custom tall, slender, white wooden display stand with a rotary design. The top features a decorative, scalloped edge. Below this, the stand has four open shelves, each with a curved, concave front edge, creating a decorative and functional storage space. The overall finish is a clean, matte white (primed).
It was made with pine wood and quite a complex project for a client who needed a nail polish stand for her nail salon. She requested it primed so that she could paint & design it on her own.
The challenge with this type of project is making sure you keep an odd number sides project squared up. In this case a pentagon. This can be challenging because there is not one straight edge to measure off of when making your cut, you need to measure off a point.
Even with these types of challenges, it was fun and turned out looking great!
